South Dakota’s active cases of COVID-19 fall below 2,000

PIERRE, S.D.–South Dakota reached an important mark over the weekend in the effort to snuff out COVID-19 in the state.

The number of active cases of coronavirus dropped below 2,000 across the entire state.

The Health Department put that number Sunday at 1,966, with just 90 hospitalizations.

Active cases in Codington County are at 184.
