South Dakota woman embarks on fifth Red Cross deployment of 2020  (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–As hurricane warnings have been issued for a portion of the U.S. gulf coast, a South Dakota Red Cross volunteer has once again answered the call for help.

Becky Eisenbraun of Hill City department for Baton Rouge, Louisiana this morning, where she’ll provide shelter support for the victims of what could be a devastating storm.

Hurricane Delta  could bring winds in excess of 100 miles per hour when it makes landfall in Louisiana on Friday.

It would be an unprecedented sixth hurricane to impact the state in 2020. Category four hurricane Laura devastated Lake Charles, Louisiana in late August, and the state saw heavy rain from Tropical Storm Cristobal in June.
