PIERRE, S.D.–Vote canvassing will make South Dakota’s 2020 election results official.

The Secretary of State’s office says 427,513 South Dakotans voted in Tuesday’s election.

There are 578,655 registered voters in the state.

That puts voter turnout Tuesday at 73.88 percent.

In Codington County, voter turnout was 76.27%, with a total of 13,330 ballots cast.
