PLATTE, S.D.–The publication of federal rules for industrial hemp production will help spur a South Dakota legislative committee in taking further action.

Governor Kristi Noem is still strongly opposed to legalizing hemp.
Qualm says they hope to bring her around……
The hemp committee, which includes Watertown State Representative Nancy York, will meet the day before Governor Noem’s budget speech on December third.
