South Dakota gas prices drop amid national coronavirus crisis

WATERTOWN, S.D.—During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, crude oil prices have been plummeting, and that’s being reflected in lower prices at gas pumps.

According to the website http://www.southdakotagasprices.com/ the statewide average in South Dakota today is $1.99 a gallon.

One week ago, the average was $2.12 a gallon. One month ago it was $2.31 a gallon, and one year ago the average was $2.49 a gallon.

The lowest-priced gas in South Dakota is $1.49 a gallon at stations in Tyndall, Winner and Springfield.

Many Watertown stations are priced at $1.89 a gallon this morning.

The national average currently stands at $2.09 a gallon.
