South Dakota Dept of Corrections announces death of inmate

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–South Dakota prison officials have announced the death of inmate Brian Gibbons.
They say he died Monday at a Sioux Falls hospital.
Gibbons was serving time for First Degree Robbery in Brookings County.
He was 47 years old.
