Softball splits with Mitchell

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Arrow softball earned a homecoming split against Mitchell Tuesday night at the Anza.
Watertown would fall in game one 8-5 but come back to win game two 5-1.
Brooklyn Gronau would take the loss on the mound in game one, throwing two strikes while issuing two walks. Gronau went two for two at the palace wit ha walk and a run. Danesa Koch smacked across two RBI’s Lily Pressler and Hannah Leverson each put down one RBI each.
Jade Lund would earn the victory on the hill in game two. Watertown put down 10 hits in the game. Avery Palmquist, Brooklyn Gronau each put throw two RBI’s, Audri Wadsworth one RBI.
Watertown Arrow softball will compete at the ESD Tournament on September 19th.
