Softball falls twice to Roosevelt

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Arrow softball would fall twice Tuesday to Sioux Falls Roosevelt by finals of 8-0 and 20-10.
Brooklyn Granau would pitch game one going five innings, throwing three strikeouts and issuing two walks. Gronau, Adysen Huyvaert, and Hannah Leverson would tally the three Watertown hits in the first game.
Jada Brown would pitch game two going two and two-thirds innings, issuing two walks. Kinsley VanGilder would pitch one-third of an inning in relief.
Watertown would drop down seven hits in the second game. Jade Lund and Allison Stark would notch two RBI’s, Lily Pressler would contribute one RBI.
Watertown comes back home Friday for a pair versus Sturgis at the Anza. The first pitches are 6 and 7:30 p.m.
