SOFTBALL: Arrows splits contests at Brandon

BRANDON, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Arrow softball would split their contests at Brandon on Thursday night.

Watertown would come away with a 4-2 victory in game one.  Brook Gronau would earn the W on the hill allowing four hits and fanning three.  Hannah Leverson would go two for two at the plate with a homer and two RBI’s.

The Arrows would be blanked by the Lynx in game two 9-0. Jada Brown took the loss on the mound allowing six hits and striking out two.  Kinsley VanGilder and Leverson would each go 1-2 at the plate.

Watertown (3-1) will host Sioux Falls O’Gorman Monday, August 23rd at the Koch Complex at 6 and 7:30 p.m.  The games will have free admission.
