SOFTBALL: Arrows split with number four Brookings

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Arrow Softball would split their games against number four Brookings on Tuesday.

Watertown would fall in game one 5-2. Kinsley VanGilder and Brooklyn Gronau would each go two for three at the plate. Gronau would take the L on the hill and strike out four.

The purple and gold would come away with a 3-1 game two win. Jada Brown found the W on the mound fanning six. Lily Pressley would put down a triple and Audri Wadsworth would have a double. The Arrows would put down six hits in the game.

Watertown (6-6) heads west to face Rapid City Central and Stevens Friday and Saturday.
