WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Huron outlasted Watertown Thursday night 6-4 in high school boys soccer.
Jaxson Fiechtner knocked two through the net, Hunter Mitchell and Ryan Roby each had one goal. Mitchell, Roby, and Braxten Endres each notched an assist. Blake Hight had 15 saves in net. Watertown took 13 shots in the game.
Watertown boys wrap up their year with a record of 2-9-3 and await their first-round opponent for the Class AA Boys Soccer Tournament which begins October 5th.
The Watertown Girls Soccer squad rolled past Huron 10-0. Reagan Campbell and Rylie Campbell would each score two goals. Single goals were made by Lydia Buckley, Hannah Walburg, Mya York, Elizabeth Olson, Aspen Reynolds, and Katie FIsher. Reagan and Rylie Campbell along with Aspen Reynolds would notch two assists. Shelby Spilde and Stephanie Lentsch would add one.
The Arrows conclude their regular season with a record of 7-7 and await their first-round opponent for the Class AA Girls Soccer Tournament that begins on October 5th.
