Sioux Falls PD: Eighth teenager involved in fatal crash (Audio)

SIOUX FALLS,, S.D.–Sioux Falls Police say there is an eighth teen who was involved in a fatal crash early Saturday morning that killed two 15-year-olds.

Milana Reeves and Eric Hopkins, both of Sioux Falls, were identified as the two teens who died at the scene of the crash and five other juveniles, ranging from 13 to 17 years old, were transported to area hospitals with severe injuries.

Now, Sioux Falls police have confirmed an eighth teenager was involved. Police say they learned that a 15-year-old boy from Sioux Falls was also in the vehicle and left the scene before responders could arrive.

Police say they haven’t been able to question the other passengers, who are still hospitalized, and aren’t sure who was driving.
