Sioux Falls man sentenced to 12 years in federal prison on child porn, resisting charges

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–The South Dakota U.S. Attorney’s Office says a Sioux Falls man will spend 12 years in federal prison for distribution of child pornography and assaulting, resisting and impeding a federal officer.
Fifty eight year-old Brad Hicks was found to be in possession of hundreds of pictures and images of child porn.
When officer attempted to arrest him in February, a standoff ensued that ended with tear gas being deployed and Hicks finally surrendering.
