Sioux Falls man in jail after assaulting two Codington County correctional officers

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — A Sioux Falls man is in jail after assaulting two Codington County correctional officers.
According to a release, on Monday (Nov 30th) Nathaniel Eagle of Sioux Falls was in the process of being booked into the Codington County Detention Center for DUI and other charges when he became uncooperative. He was escorted to a holding cell when Eagle became combative and assaulted two correctional officers. He was restrained before being placed into the holding cell.
Eagle was charged with aggravated assault against law enforcement, and simple assault against law enforcement. His bond was set at $15,000 cash only.
