Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responds to early morning house fire

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire in southern Sioux Falls early Monday morning.
It happened around 2:25 a.m. in the 2000 block of W. Johnson Place.
Metro Communications advised that smoke and fire were coming from the bathroom area of the home.
According to Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, everyone was reported to be out of the home.
Crews used a hose line to extinguish the fire while also searching to ensure there was no one inside.
The fire was extinguished in approximately 15 minutes. Crews spent another hour and a half extinguishing hot spots.
