Sioux Falls Fire Rescue dispatched to house fire

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–No injuries were reported Thursday morning after Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on South Glendale Avenue.
The call came in around 12:30 a.m. Fire Rescue was dispatched to the 3700 block of S. Glendale Avenue Dispatch informed the crews that a fire was in a room in the structure, but everyone was out safely.
Crews reported smoke on approach, but they were able to extinguish the fire within five minutes of arrival. Crews remained on the scene for a few hours to ensure the fire was extinguished.
No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported.
