Sex Crimes investigation leads to arrest in Watertown

Watertown, SD – November 15th, 2023
In November 2023, the Watertown Police Department conducted a sex crimes investigation. The investigation led to the arrest of Wayne Anderson (34 years old from Watertown, SD) on 11/14/2023. Wayne was charged with 1st Degree Rape, Solicitation of a Minor, and Violation of a Protection Order. Wayne is being held at the Codington County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.
