Seven Missouri Valley athletes earn FCS All-America Team honors

(Missouri-Football.org) — North Dakota State QB Trey Lance leads the way on the Athlon 2020 Preseason FCS All-America Team — one of seven returnees from last year’s postseason squad. Lance became the first freshman to receive the Walter Payton Award as the FCS offensive player of the year and helped the Bison capture their third straight national title.

Senior Offensive lineman Dillon Radunz also earned FCS All-America Team honors for North Dakota State

Earning FCS All-America Team honors from South Dakota State was wide receiver Cade Johnson This is his second preseason honor for the senior, who received first-team recognition from HERO Sports last week.

The Missouri Valley Football Conference matched the Big Sky Conference with the most total selections as each league had seven student-athletes on the first-team units.
