SDVBCA to honor two

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The South Dakota High School Volleyball Coaches Association will be honoring two during the 2020 state championships.

Doreen Dirksen will be recognized as their 2020 Hall of Fame Coach.  The Hall of Fame Coach is recognized for being active in the growth, development, leadership, and commitment to volleyball in South Dakota.  Dirksen will receive her award before the State “B” Championship match in Huron on November 21, 2020.

Roger Knecht will be recognized as the 2020 Friend of Volleyball. The Friend of Volleyball is recognized for their positive promotion of as well as their commitment locally and statewide, through volunteering to the sport of volleyball. Knecht will receive his award before the State “A” Championship match in Watertown on November 21, 2020.
