SDHP: South Shore man sustains life-threatening injuries in Watertown rollover crash

WATERTOWN, S.D.–A South Shore man sustained life-threatening injuries in a rollover crash in Watertown Sunday afternoon.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened at 3:15 on the south edge of the Watertown city limits.

Forty four year-old Raymond Starr was westbound near the intersection of 7th Street Southwest and 20th Avenue when he lost control of the pickup he was driving.

The pickup left the roadway and rolled several times. Starr was thrown from the vehicle.

He was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital and was later airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital.

Starr was not wearing a seat belt. Charges are pending.
