SDHP: Icy crash on Interstate 90 leaves one dead

KADOKA, S.D.–Icy conditions on Interstate 90 in west river South Dakota led to an accident that killed one person.
It happened Sunday afternoon, 15 miles west of Kadoka.
The driver of a pickup was eastbound when he hit a patch of ice, lost control of the vehicle, crossed the median, and struck a westbound car and semi.
The 80 year-old driver of the pickup, from Belvidere, South Dakota, died from his injuries after being transported to a Rapid City hospital.
Two people in the car were injured, and the semi driver walked away unscathed.
