SD Coaches Association announces winter Coach of the Year Awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (News Release) — The South Dakota High School Coaches Association announces the Coach of the Year Awards for the Winter of 2020.
Gymnastics – Rachelle Engelbrecht, Brookings
Nominees for gymnastics included: Les Coin, Sioux Falls Lincoln; Sherri Johnson, Estelline/Hendricks; Julie King, Huron
Wrestling – John Donovan, Chamberlain
Nominees for wrestling included: Travis King, Rapid City Stevens; Spencer Novotny, Winner; Jeremy Swenson, Canton; Chas Welch, Watertown
Girls’ Basketball – Lorisa Broughton, Corsica-Stickney
Nominees for girl’s basketball included: Larry Aaker, Winner; Kent Kolsrud, Sioux Falls O’Gorman; Adam Quail, Lennox; Megan Severtson, Flandreau; Travis Swartz, Rapid City Stevens
