MADISON – An 18 point fourth quarter would send Flandreau past Clark/Willow Lake in the Class A SoDak 16 from Madison High School on Tuesday. The Cyclones almost pulled off the upset taking a 31-29 lead going into the fourth frame but the Flyers would separate themselves with an 18-7 quarter to take the W. There were seven lead changes in the contest. Tash Lunday had the double-double on the night for Flandreau, 25 points on eight of 17 shooting from the field, nine of 11 from the charity stripe, and pulled down 12 boards. Trey Huber was the only Cyclone to get into double figures with a 13 point night on five of seven from the field, grabbed five boards and dished one assist. Clark/Willow Lake finish their year at 15-8.

HURON – Three Bulldogs scored in double figures to lead DeSmet back to the Class B State Tournament with a dominant 66-24 win over Chester Area in the Class B SoDak 16 from Huron Arena Tuesday night. Damon Wilkinson led the Bulldogs with 17 points on 8 of 11 shooting from the field, grabbed seven boards, and had one block. Tory Holland contributed 16 points and had three steals, Kalen Garry added 12 points and would go four of six from the charity stripe. Stratton Eppard had 13 points for the Flyers.

Aberdeen Christian 64, Lyman 46
HURON – Five Aberdeen Christian players would see double figures in a 64-46 Class B SoDak 16 win over Lyman from the Huron Arena. Malek Wieker led the way for the Knights with 16, Ethan Russell had 15, Andrea Brennan with 12, Kaden Clark contributed 11 and Jackson Isakson rounded out the double-figure scoring with 10. Sam McClanahan had 12 to lead the scoring for Burke.

Waubay/Summit 49, Platte-Geddes 44
SIOUX FALLS – Damian Opdahl put on a 20 point performance in Waubay/Summit’s 49-44 win over Platte-Geddes in the Class B SoDak 16 from Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School. Opdahl would also grab seven boards, and dish one assist on the night. Seth Gaikowski added nine points, Jonathan Johnston and J. Gulbraa each contributed six points. Caden Foxley had nine points for the Jaguars. The Mustangs will head to the B for the first time as a co-op.

Castlewood 61, Burke 39
MITCHELL – Three Castlewood Warriors led the scoring column in a dominant 61-39 win over Burke Tuesday in the Class B SoDak 16 from the Mitchell Corn Palace. Tristan Nielsen led the way for Castlewood with 19 points, Lane Tvedt poured on 14 and Bryon Laue added 13 points. Ben Witt had 18 points for Burke. The Warriors are back at the State B for the first time since 2012.
