Schmidt named NSIC Cross Country Athlete of the Week

Augustana sophomore Nicolette Schmidt was named the NSIC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

Schmidt finished 10th out of more than 400 runners at the Lewis Crossover.  Her time of 23:04.01 on the 6K course marked the top finish for the Vikings and lead Augie to a second place team finish in a field of 36 teams.

Schmidt is a 2017 graduate of Redfield High School and is the daughter of Dustin and Dawn Schmidt.
