SATURDAY UPDATE: South Dakota adds 107 additional COVID-19 infections

PIERRE, S.D.–The South Dakota Health Department reported 107 new COVID-19 infections in the state Saturday, bringing the statewide total to 2, 147. 

Of those infected, 1,223 have recovered.

Minnehaha and Lincoln counties were responsible for 98 of the 107 new cases.

Sixty-one people remain hospitalized in South Dakota with COVID-19.

Codington County has reported a total of 14 cases, but just one of those cases is active, with the other 13 people already recovered.
