Retailer Target announces holiday shopping hours

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.–Target has announced its shopping hours for Black Friday and the holiday season.
On Black Friday, November 29, the Minneapolis-based retailer will open at 6 a.m. for 18 hours of shopping.
For the rest of the holiday season, from November 30 until December 23, Target stores will open for extended hours every day from 7 a.m. until midnight.
Target will not be open on Thanksgiving Day for the fifth year so employees can enjoy the day with their families.
Meanwhile, this could be a record year for holiday shopping. The National Retail Federation says the average American shopper will spend $902 this holiday season. That’s $25 per person, more than last year.
