REPORT: USD finds its next women’s basketball coach

VERMILLION, S.D.–The University of South Dakota Coyote women’s basketball program has found the new leader of their pack.
University of Idaho Vandal women’s head basketball coach Carrie Eighmey is reportedly leaving to take the head coaching position at USD and succeed Kayla Karius who left two weeks ago to take over at her alma mater, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
A native of Edgar, Nebraska, Eighmey went 15-16 in her lone season with the Idaho last year.
