WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Rebels will take their 7-1 record into the playoffs this Saturday.
Watertown had a bye week last week for the Fourth of July holiday. That bye week was extremely important says Co-owner of the Rebels Chris Renmoe:
Watertown will face the Mountain Lake Lakers this Saturday to open the Southern Plains Football League playoffs, a team the Rebels beat 28-9 back on June 12th. Dylan Duvall in that game would go nine of 14 through the air for 205 yards and four touchdowns. The green and black would also rack up 152 yards rushing. Coach Tommy Whitley says he expects a completely different Laker team:
Kickoff is Saturday, 4 p.m. at Great Plains Lutheran Field.
