WILLOW LAKE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Sloppy field conditions didn’t stop the Watertown Rebels on Saturday as they defeated the Dakota Bulldogs 14-8.

The game was moved to Willow Lake due to poor field conditions at the Great Plains Lutheran field.

Rebels QB Trevor Taylor went 7 of 29 for 120 yards and hit two second-half TD passes to Dylan Duvall and Casey Renaas.  Taylor was intercepted twice, once returned for a TD. Wade Secrest rushed six times for 19 yards.

On defense, the Rebels racked up 21 tackles, one sack, one INT and held the Bulldogs to -46 yards rushing.

Watertown (2-0) remains home to face the Buffalo Ridge Wildcats this Saturday.
