WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The rain over the past weekend wiped out Watertown Post 17’s opening weekend contests at Fargo Post 400.

Fargo will now come to Watertown Stadium for a weekend series Friday and Saturday.  4 and 6 p.m. first pitches on Friday and a 1:30 p.m. first pitch on Saturday.  Brent Nathaniel will have coverage of the games on 1480 KSDR and GoWatertown.net/Post17.

Vandalism has also caused a change to Thursday’s game against Aberdeen.  The pitcher’s mound at Watertown Stadium was defaced over the weekend causing Watertown’s season-opening contest to be moved to Aberdeen for a 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. first pitch.  A doubleheader with the Smitty’s has been added to the schedule at Watertown Stadium on May 26th at 5 and 7 p.m.

Brent Nathaniel will have more on this story later today.
