MITCHELL, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Jared Rabenberg has qualified for the NAIA National Championship. The Dakota Wesleyan University senior and Britton native qualified at the Great Plains Athletic Conference Championships on Friday and Saturday in Mitchell.
Rabenberg broke the facility record in the high jump with a mark of 6-9.5 feet (2.07m), qualifying him for the national meet in the high jump. His mark was also enough for a first-place finish as he finished a GPAC Champion in the high jump.
Rabenberg is one of three DWU athletes to qualify for the NAIA National Championship March 5-7 in Brookings.
