WATERTOWN, S.D.—A public meeting is being held tonight at the Watertown High School library on plans to remodel the high school beginning next spring.

School District Superintendent Jeff Danielsen was asked what parts of the high school would be remodeled….

Danielsen talks about how much it would cost, and how it would be paid for….

Danielsen says this is a project whose time has come….

Danielsen says if the remodel gets school board approval, work will begin in May 2020 and be finished by the fall of 2022.

He says it would be done in “phases” to try and eliminate the least amount of disruption during the school year.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 5:30 in the high school library.
