WATERTOWN, S.D.–A meeting is being held tonight to discuss the latest developments in Watertown’s proposed two sheet ice arena…

That’s City Manager Amanda Mack, who told us earlier this week that cost estimates for the arena have grown to $33-34 million.

Councilman Mike Danforth is hoping for a big turnout tonight…

The city council will hold a special meeting next Monday to consider borrowing another $10 million to cover the cost of ice arena construction.
