PREVIEW: Watertown SoDak 16 games on 950 KWAT

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The boys and girls Class AA SoDak 16 brackets have been set.

The Watertown boys earned the 14 seed with a regular-season record of 6-14 and will travel to the three-seed Sioux Falls Washington Saturday. The Warriors wrapped their season 13-7. Watertown would fall in the final seconds of the regular-season matchup between the two squads 68-64 back on February 4th. Drew Norberg put on a show in that contest with a 28 point night but the Warriors Mikele Kombalo answered back with a 37 point performance.

The Arrow girls are the 12 seed in the Class AA SoDak 16 with a 9-11 record and will travel to 15-5 and the five seed Rapid City Central Friday night. The Cobblers earned the W in the regular season 43-24 on January 22nd. The Arrows would shoot 17 percent in the contest with Kendall Paulson and Jaida Young would each lead the scoring for the purple and gold with six points. Josie Hill had 17 for the Cobblers.
