PREVIEW: Florence/Henry vs Hamlin on New Country KS93

FLORENCE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The area game tonight on Watertown Radio Sports will feature the Florence/Henry Falcons facing the Hamlin Chargers.

The Chargers girls are coming off a dominant 58-19 win against Deuel Tuesday night as heard on Watertown Radio Sports.  Hamlin, currently 15-2, is competing with Flandreau to be the top seed in the Region 2A playoffs that begin on Tuesday.

Florence/Henry suffered their second loss of the year on Tuesday to number one in Class B Aberdeen Roncalli 52-38.  The Falcons also aim to also be the top seed in Region 1A play that begins on Tuesday with a 15-2 record.  Falcon coach Rob Carpenter says Hamlin, their opponent tonight, is one of the top teams in Class A:

As we turn to the boys’ side of the matchup, Hamlin is 10-6 after a 71-44 win against Deuel on Tuesday as heard on Watertown Radio Sports.  With four games to go, Hamlin currently sits at the number three seed in the Region 2A.

Florence/Henry is 7-10 after a 67-40 loss to Deuel on February 10th.  The Falcons are currently the six seed in Region 1A with three games left.  Florence/Henry Coach Will Roe says tonight against Hamlin they are looking to stop their transition game:
