The three-seed De Smet rolled Britton-Hecla in the opening round last Thursday 62-12.  Bulldog Coach Brendon Pitts talks about that game:

The Bulldogs are 9-0 coming into this week.  One of the strengths of this years squad is the defense which has five shutouts on the season:

The Bulldogs quarterfinal opponent is the Warner Monarchs.  Coach Pitts previews the game:

7 p.m. kick from Wiklinson Field in De Smet.
Castlewood defeated Kadoka Area 42-20 in their opening-round game last week: The Warriors have been struggling with injuries this season says Coach Doug Ruesink:

Despite the injuries, Castlewood has put together a 6-3 record.  Those three losses are against Hamlin, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland and De Smet.  Coach Ruesink says it’s been an up and down year:

Castlewood will travel to the number one seed Herreid/Selby Area in the quarterfinal round Thursday.  Coach Ruesink says they are two very similar teams:
