WILLOW LAKE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Clark/Willow Lake will face Florence/Henry in doubleheader basketball action tonight on New Country KS93.
The Cyclone girls are searching for their first victory of the season after losses against Waubay/Summit, Sioux Valley, and Sioux Falls Christian. Coach Sam Williams says his girls keep getting better every game:
Florence/Henry is 3-0 after a 61-42 win at Waubay/Summit last Monday night. The Falcons are receiving votes in the latest South Dakota Broadcaster Poll.
Turning our attention to the boys side of the match, Clark/Willow Lake are 0-2 after taking number one in Class A Sioux Valley and number one in Class B De Smet to the limit. Coach Jerome Nesheim says his team has stepped up and competed at a high level:
Florence/Henry is 2-1 and are coming off a 45-41 loss against Faultk on Friday night.
