WATERTOWN, S.D.–COVID-19 numbers continue to spike in South Dakota.

Today’s report from the State Department of Health show active cases have grown to 6,604. Hospitalizations are at 303. Deaths are at 291. Those are the highest numbers seen since the pandemic began in South Dakota in early March. 

In Codington County, active cases are at 211 today. There have been 10 virus-related deaths in the county.
