Prairie Lakes CEO says treating COVID-19 patients is a moment, “they know will come” (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.—Codington County has reported five positive cases of the COVID-19 virus thus far, but none of those people have received medical care at Prairie Lakes Healthcare.

That’s according to CEO K.C. DeBoer….

Prairie Lakes is instituting a “no visitor policy” today (Thursday) that includes a few exceptions for patients who are minors, receiving end-of-life care, are in an altered mental state, or are cancer center patients.

It replaces a restricted visitation policy that went into place March 14th.
