Post 17 heads to the Creighton Prep College World Series Classic this weekend

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Post 17 would go 2-2 at the Dakota Classic this past weekend in Sioux Falls.  Falling on day one to Renner and Ralston, Nebraska on Friday but getting back in the win column against Newhawka, Nebraska on Saturday and St. Peter, Minnesota on Sunday.

The purple and gold will head to Omaha this weekend to compete at the Creighton Prep College World Series Classic.  Coach Neale tells us about the tournament:

In addition to the games being played, Watertown will take in a College World Series game on Thursday.  Post 17 will face Lincoln East to begin the tournament at 2:30 p.m. today, followed by West Fargo at 5 p.m.
