Poor shooting dooms Arrows at Washington

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — A night of poor shooting doomed the Watertown Arrow boys basketball team as they would fall at Sioux Falls Washington 53-37 Monday night.

The Arrows were led by Evan Falconer with 12 points, going 3 of 12 from the field and 5 of 8 from the charity stripe. Dawson Schmidt contributed 11 points, going 4 of 15 from the field and 2 of 4 from the line.

Sioux Falls Washington was led by Eli Williams with 14.

The Warriors shot 52% from the field compared to the Arrows 24%

Watertown (7-8) heads to Aberdeen Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. tip. Todd Enderson will have coverage on 950 KWAT and GoWatertown.net.
