RAPID, CITY, S.D.–Investigators are trying to piece together details of what led to the recent murder of an 82 year-old Rapid City woman in her home.

Reta McGovern was found dead with her throat slashed.

Over the weekend, police arrested 45 year-old James Jumping Eagle on murder charges. He was also wanted for failing to register as a sex offender.
