WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown police say six juveniles face charges after a series of complaints about graffiti being spray-painted on businesses in downtown Watertown.
Police Captain Steve Rehorst tells KWAT News they got the initial call shortly after six o’clock Thursday evening….
Rehorst says while some people think spray-painted graffiti might be a harmless prank, police view it differently….
Rehorst says a total of six businesses were vandalized, and it will be up the business owners to clean up the vandalism left behind…
Rehorst says the juveniles are charged with Trespassing and Intentional Damage to Property. They range in age from 12 to 15. Five of the six are from Watertown. The other is from Sisseton.
All six juveniles were released to parents or guardians following the investigation.
