Plans for Shopko property redevelopment in Watertown still a “go” despite business shutdowns (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.—The man behind plans to redevelop the former Shopko property in Watertown says those plans are still a “go,” but the timeline will probably be pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

KWAT News talked with Brian Brandriet today to get an update….

He says he’s had to adjust his timeline….

As for what that new timeline might look like…

He says he doesn’t have any signed lease agreements yet….

Brandriet is hoping to locate a new restaurant on the redeveloped property, along with several other smaller stores.
