ENDERLIN, N.D. (KFGO) – A pilot suffered minor injuries when a small plane crashed in a field about one mile west of Enderlin in southeastern North Dakota late Monday morning.

The state patrol says 33-year-old Jessica Herman of Kulm was conducting a demonstration flight with Enderlin Area schools. Herman had a 13 and 12-year-old boy aboard. The Piper Cub experienced an engine malfunction.

Herman attempted an emergency landing in a field southwest of the Enderlin Airport. The plane came down on its roof.
