Paulsen enters 2021 race for Watertown mayor

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown has its first announced mayoral challenger for 2021.
Colin Paulsen, a former Watertown assistant city engineer, announced this week that he’ll run against Mayor Sarah Caron, who has indicated she plans on running for a second term.
Paulsen quit his job at City Hall earlier this year.
The mayoral race is next June, about the same time Watertown transitions to a city manager-led form of government, and a smaller sized city council.
