NWS releasing updated spring flood outlook today

ABERDEEN, S.D.–The National Weather Service will release its latest spring flood outlook for eastern South Dakota today.

The updates are released every two weeks, and reflect changes in snowfall amounts and the pace of snow melt.

The last report, released on March 9th, indicated flooding was a possibility on the James River between Huron and Aberdeen, and on the Big Sioux River in Codington and Hamlin counties.
