NSIC and NSAA release preseason football polls

The Northern Sun and North Star Athletic conferences released their 2021 preseason football polls on Tuesday.
Augustana was picked third in the NSIC and second in the south division. Sioux Falls was tabbed fourth and tied for third in the south division. The eighth spot would go to Northern State who was also picked fifth in the north division. NSIC football consists of 14 teams divided into two divisions (north/south). Concordia-St. Paul will move to the north division this upcoming season.
Dakota State was tabbed fourth in the NSAA poll while Presentation College was picked sixth. Iowa Wesleyan, located in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, joins the North Star Athletic Association as an associate member in the football conference this upcoming season.
