North Dakota rest areas undergo deep cleaning and repairs; now reopened (Audio)

BISMARCK, N.D.–Governor Burgum says rest areas that were closed last week are now open. He says the DOT has been doing some deep cleaning of those rest areas, as well as make some repairs.

South Dakota rest areas have remained open, although DOT Secretary Darin Bergquist says closing them has been considered.

As of Monday morning, South Dakota’s COVID-19 count was at 21. North Dakota had 30 cases, Minnesota was at 169.
