North Dakota man taken to Aberdeen hospital after rolling truck into slough

ASHLEY, N.D.–An Ellendale, North Dakota man was seriously injured in a crash northeast of Ashley, North Dakota Monday, around 1:45 p.m.

The 60-year old victim was flown to an Aberdeen, South Dakota hospital after his truck rolled into a slough. His name has not been released

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the driver met a line of construction vehicles on a narrow gravel road but his visibility was reduced by heavy dust kicked up by the construction vehicles. The man tried to avoid a crash but went off the roadway and rolled onto the passenger side of the truck, ending up in the ditch.

The crash is under investigation.
